BUILDING
The building has been designed with a varying number of storey – four and six. The building has 40 apartments with a cellar room for each apartment.

The apartments are also supplied with loggias, terraces and French balconies. The building has 2 stairwells with lifts. In the basement, there are sheds, technical rooms, and a car park for 20 cars.

ARHITECTURE
Stylistically, the building has a simple form and fine details. The combination of various materials and surfaces has been used in its architecture. Similarly to the combination of various surfaces, you can enjoy the views on the landscape from the loggias and other openings. The wall surfaces of the building have been structured with bigger windows, connecting thus the inner rooms to nature and light.

ENVIRONMENT
The Mäepealse project, developed by AS YIT Ehitus, is located in the area between Mustamäe and Nõmme districts in Tallinn.

Nearby, you can find Harku-Nõmme-Mustamäe Recreation area with its walking paths in the Nõmme Sports Centre (www.sportkeskus.ee), which offers several possibilities for practicing healthy lifestyle all year round.

The Nõmme Sports Centre, which is located in the centre of a natural pine forest at Külmallika 15a, Tallinn, is a sports club which offers various opportunities for exercising and spending one’s free time. Glehni manor and park with the spring area that is considered a very interesting ecological object of landscape is located close to the sports centre.

In winter, the centre provides high-quality (lighted, marked, maintained) ski trails (1, 2, 3 or 5 km of lenght) that enable you to exercise, or take part in competitions as well as go skiing for fun. The trails have been connected to the trails of Harku park woodland by a tunnel.

In summer, the trails can be used for cycling, running, pole walking and other hobby sports activities. The two outdoor pools are suitable for swimming and there are two courts for basketball and three for beach volleyball on the territory. You can also play beach volleyball (3 courts) or street basketball (2 courts) in the territory of the sports centre.

The Hiiu stadium, which is also managed by the Nõmme Sports Centre, is covered by artificial lawn and therefore enables you to play football all year round. It is also possible to organise athletics training and competitions.

The ski jump tower and downhill skiing slope, located at Vana-Mustamäe 16, offer places for practicing more extreme types of winter sports. In addition to the above mentioned, a snow-tubing trail is open in winter time.

Tallinn Techno Park is also located in the district. The object of TEHNOPOL (www.tehnopol.ee) lies in establishing and developing a business environment that supports innovation and encourages exchange of know-how and new technologies between research and development institutions, companies and markets. As the result of that, the international competitive ability of the companies related to TEHNOPOL is increasing and this in turn leads to the rise of the Estonian economy and formation of new high-quality jobs.

The Tallinn University of Technology (www.ttu.ee), one of the main suppliers of higher education in Estonia, is also nearby.

In addition to the already existing bus stops on Kadaka Avenue, two new bus stops have been planned on Mäepealse Street for a prospective bus route.
